ZNS is a brand new and adventurous jewellery business in Hong Kong that aims to create a new shopping experience for the millennials and the fast-coming Gen Z, it embodies the ground-breaking concept co-owned by the well-established jewellery manufacturer as well as Harvard scientists, Sze’s Holdings Limited, and an internationally renowned brand designer artist Alan Chan. The design philosophy of ZNS is inspired by the story of two owners join hands together, hence a slogan of “From Eternity to Infinity” to capture the mystery and synergy when science meets art. With infinity at the heart of the philosophy, it has also become a key visual element of the brand including the brand identity and the logo, while all products and interior elements are derived from the infinity symbol “∞”. It is a prime example of ZNS daring to make an everlasting symbolic brand with consistency instead of conforming to trends. This original interior design embraces an original and innovative concept and functionality at its core, unlike any conventional jewellery shops from shopfront, layout, jewellery display system, furniture, lighting and ambience. It incorporates a futuristic design language and creates a unique shopping experience that locks with human emotions and senses. The sleek design of shopfront and interior layout without any jewellery display sparks curiosity and wonder when customers pass by. At the centre of the shop is an eye-catching “Z” shape table cabinet and “Z” shape ceiling light troughs to reinforce the consistency of the brand. This open layout fosters intimacy and transparency between customers and staff for dialogues and products try-on. To sync with the millennial‘s behaviour of not wanting to be told, the shop adopted a customized display system of one-way mirrors across the horizontal eye-level on the wall to display the jewellery items, which will trigger the light to turn on to reveal the jewellery as the customer walks closer. This innovative design signifies a journey of discovery that is unlike any other retail in-store experience. Every interior detail reinforces the brand concept of time, eternity and infinity. For instance, the jewellery pieces are displayed on Chinese scholar stones which represents a microcosm of the universe. Illumination on the white background with gradual transformation of lighting every 15 minute creates an immersive experience that engage customers with the perceptions of time and light. And the use of over 200-year tree trunk stools, B&B Italia coffee table and infinity mirror inside the VIP room evokes a sense of boundlessness. Aerospace rocket and research laboratory were the inspiration for the materials and colour palette. The entire fitting out and furniture are primarily stainless steel, mirror and stone in silver, white and black. https://znsjewellery.com/ https://www.instagram.com/znsjewellery/
