ALVIC MATERIC WORLD INTERZUM 2025
Spaces to Think and Create through Eco-Design
Architect Héctor Ruiz’s studio has designed a 255m² exhibition space for Alvic, inspired by art, design, nature, and architecture as emotional expression. This symbolic welcome lounge invites visitors into a sensory journey that connects them with raw materials, highlighting the authenticity of Alvic's products.
The design unfolds in layers: Luxe Plus Pearl Gray is the backdrop with its large empty circles. Agave Zenit panels, in a super matte finish, introduce the calm freshness of biophilia. These green surfaces are cut into imaginative spatial geometries, expanding perspectives from all angles. The lounge features a GEOMETRIC GAME inspired by KALEIDOSCOPES and KIRIGAMI, the Japanese paper-cutting art, creating a SYMMETRICAL SCENOGRAPHY that immerses visitors in an artistic atmosphere.
Floating among the curved cuts are circle forms—like moons or planets, crafted in the Stratos Sierra 02 and Trevi 02 Syncron Art finishes. These elements play with solid and void, volume and lightness.
This REFLECTIVE LANDSCAPE becomes a MATERIAL REALITY, where material is the main actor, seen, touched, and fused with the surrounding air, sculpting each surface.
The architecture highlights Alvic’s new sustainable collection, with natural-inspired finishes that promote wellness, a key aspect of modern life.
The layout features a welcome desk at the entrance that opens into an introspective world. The central zone includes a patio bar and lounge. To the right, the Lab zone explores Alvic’s history, technologies, and components. A large-format materials exhibition follows and concludes in a mini apartment where Alvic products are fully applied in a real domestic setting.
This 50m² apartment showcases functionality and emotional experience, maximizing usability and embracing a prefabricated, stereotype-free construction approach. A luminous shelving unit defines the structure in GOYA 01 finish, resting on a TREVI 02 base. A central circular volume, home’s ritual core, contains water, fire, and air: shower, fireplace, and an elevated bed recall a rock in nature.
We introduce the Japanese concept of Genkan into this home, or what will soon become a standard in Western living. It is a small indoor porch, the threshold between outside and inside. A space where we remove anything that has been in contact with the outdoors, shoes, bags, coats, before entering the most private part of the home. It can be seen as a decontamination vestibule, much like in Arab culture, where the soul was purified before entering a sacred area: THE HOME.
Biophilic spirit is reflected not only in form but also in 100% natural, recyclable materials. This sustainable and modular eco-design adapts easily in scale and form, ready for future spaces.
