Modem designed a state-of-the-art cinematic experience around product try-ons at Nike’s House of Innovation Paris to highlight the unique protective capabilities of the latest Nike FIT ADV apparel line. A multi-sensory weather simulator exposes customers wearing FIT ADV apparel to the most extreme climate conditions. The experience invites customers to immerse themselves in extreme climates designed around the FIT ADV line. The design of the installation is underpinned by a sophisticated approach to technology, striving for the ultimate omnichannel experience. The retail installation revolves around a 7 metres wide high-res LED screen, on which three extreme weather typologies are displayed in real-time using Unreal Engine. As customers immerse themselves into the scenes, a robotic arm carrying a high-end film camera captures their movements in sync. When the recording is completed, the customers scan a QR code to receive a custom video edit, ready to be shared on their social feed — blurring the boundaries between digital and physical engagement.
