Canary Wharf’s history as an industrial shipping hub morphing into one of London’s busiest business districts inspired B+K's design. These transitional times are “told” throughout the space and overlaid one against the other to create a competitive socializing arena driven by games and the essence of place.

Located at a newly built multi-use building on Charter St., the venue encompasses a total of 27,000 square feet across two distinct floors. This reality was challenged through a spatial experience that aims for a single coherent space where gathering, interaction, and the conservation of human energies are key.

To that end, 1,500 square feet of reinforced concrete slab were carved out to infuse both levels into a cohesive space that encourages gathering. A meticulous positioning of 21 cubical structures, 7 bars, and a restaurant envisioned an alluring environment where intuition and revelation prevail, allowing spectators and players to seamlessly change roles.

There is more than meets the eye at every touchpoint; cubes are stacked one on top of the other, 'sprinkled' and layered throughout the venue, while colorful bars and lounges complement the buzzing space with sanctuaries for socializing.

The choice of finishes was inspired by the transformative history of Canary Wharf. This design overlays analog with digital, raw with refined, colorful with chromatic, and soulful with glam. The presence of such duality, set against the state-of-the-art technology of the cubes, renders the space with an iconic presence.

As far as competitive socializing goes, B+K proposes a fresh take on the notion. The Cube Canary Wharf transcends traditional gaming concepts towards an inclusive members’ club that stands out and captures the hearts and minds of the young at heart
