Every guest that enters Grand Copthorne Waterfront enters the Hotel through a giant, golden box flanked by a shimmering 10m high featured artwork. This box, while translucent, is not transparent, so there is a hint of mystery as to what will be experienced on the other side. When the doors part, guests are immediately immersed in a visual feast. The broad panorama captures the essence of the conceptual thinking behind the planning. Guests find themselves at the centre of the Hotel embarking on a new journey; anchored by four bronze clad columns which identifies the four corners of the world, with Grand Copthorne Waterfront at its centre.
This is a planning metaphor for Singapore being a Global Hub, seamlessly connected to the world. The broad panorama sweeps from the check-in flanking the entrance, an international bar and social space at the centre to the open kitchen of a stunning Italian Restaurant, Grissini on the right.
These strategically placed elements make for an active and lively space, where guests can gastronomically, visually and physically journey a world of East & West offerings through this open, fusion concept.
