Lighting

This year at Salone Del Mobile, Lumifer presents two new lighting collections at “Future Archaeology”, an exhibition housed in a pavilion at Euroluce. The exhibition is a study in material, form, and atmosphere—where celestial influence meets architectural
precision.

Brutalist in structure yet deeply atmospheric, the exhibition is built from elements of the collection itself. A monolithic archway in raw concrete frames the space, contrasted by sugarcane velvet curtains—a dialogue between strength and fluidity. The monochrome space is designed to be an immersive environment, inspired by Mars-like landscapes and ancient archaeological
sites.

“Salone del Mobile is an opportunity to present Lumifer in its purest form—a dialogue between material, scale, and history,” founder Javier Robles shares.“This year, we explore Future Archaeology, a concept that merges brutalist architecture with celestial influences, creating a space where the past and future coexist. The pavilion itself is an extension of our design language—minimal, monolithic, and deeply atmospheric—framing new and past works in a setting that feels both ancient and otherworldly.” This concept was conceived roughly five years ago, over six different design evolutions; it is a meditation on the intersection of the past and the future, where cosmic themes, timeless architecture, and minimal compositions converge.

As an exhibition, “Future Archaeology” showcases two new lighting collections from Lumifer: The Lágrima Collection and the Huaca Collection. It also showcases two new styles in the Helix Collection, new styles in the Stellar Collection, as well as a Ponte
Credenza.
