Deloitte moved its Prague headquarters to new offices. Unique interiors in the premium standard were designed by Atelier Kunc Architects. Today, you can find Deloitte on 12 500 m2. The new concept is emphasizing coworking, creativity, and flexibility. Important is the wellbeing of employees, they can use very own Deloitte gym or roof terrace with view on the Prague Castle. The idea of the interior is to create a comfortable and pleasant working environment where the difference between office and home is disappearing. The ground floor is taking the maximum of glass atrium. The highlight of this atrium is Deloitte coffee shop for clients and employees as well. An important interior object is an iconic staircase that connects the ground floor of the atrium with the entrance hall and coworking zone. Coworking is a new part of Deloitte's offices. Coworking is design flexibly, so it can fulfill all the needs. The main communication and social part of every floor are HUBs – cafeteria with informal seating. Each HUB is directly linked to offices and private meeting rooms. HUBs are favorite place for meeting and relax and they are proportionally increasing the effectiveness of the whole firm. Economic and ecological sustainability was one of the most important requests of Deloitte. As an example, the furniture used in new offices is moved from the old headquarters. Architects design the spaceplane in an economic way but with an emphasis on new trends of the working environment. Architects created not only a highly functional working environment but also a very comfortable space full of positive emotions. Atelier Kunc architects aimed for working environment with a home atmosphere to increase the interest of people using the space. With this thought and design, they created an environment that naturally supports motivation, creativity, interest, and performance. Deloitte offices now have their own gym, several relaxing spots, and outdoor terraces with a great view of historical Prague. The client zone and coworking are set on the first two floors to be the most accessible. Deloitte Café with a terrace in the main atrium is a pleasant space for a break but also for a semi-formal meeting. Any employee can meet anybody from outside of the firm in a beautiful space just a few meters from their desk. The whole concept is created in Living Landscape Office philosophy, where the office must copy normal life and its needs. Omnipresent HUBs create transparency and openness, people spontaneously meet with their coworkers, clients, and managers. If you need a space for focused work, alone or in the core team, you can use the zones outside of the HUB area, away from the outer world. Deloitte wished to use their original furniture from previous headquarters. That strongly influenced the design but also the economical side of the project. Deloitte's offices show that the modern working environment can be done in a responsible, sustainable, and economical way.
