The Nonaka Institute of Knowledge (NIK) was established by Ikujiro Nonaka and other professors of the Graduate School of International Corporate Strategy (ICS), Hitotsubashi University, as a "place" to fuse knowledge, "for the purpose of serving the common interests of its investors" and "not for the purpose of distributing surplus funds obtained from its external activities to investors. It is a non-profit organization "for the purpose of serving the common interests of its investors" and "not for the purpose of distributing surplus from its external activities to its investors.

In search of a future style of lectures, we sought to create a hybrid of online and offline classes and to foster frank relationships that would bring students and teachers closer together. The concept is RIPPLE, a space with the theme of knowledge and the circulation of knowledge creation where the real and digital worlds are interactively connected and spread out in concentric circles, and a flexible space that changes in various ways depending on the style of teaching, people's behavior and activities. The space is a flexible space that changes in various ways depending on the style of teaching and the form of people's activities.

Therefore, this space is used in a variety of ways, including lectures, group sessions, workshops, plenary sessions, and exchange parties. The furniture layout can be set up in a variety of ways, and the straight bench sofas serve as a power supply for each of these layouts. The ICT equipment uses the latest voice technology to receive sound according to the group's position, enabling hybrid online/offline teaching in a variety of layout settings.

Under the concept of RIPPLE, connecting analog and digital technologies has created a lecture style that extends concentrically from offline to offline, from the authoritative and fixed teaching style of the past to a frank and varied teaching style.
