Innovation
This project employs a cinematic montage to reconfigure equestrian cultural memory into spatial experiences: the street-facing ground floor features a life-size racehorse model paired with a full-wall LED screen contrasting motion and stillness to reinforce brand recall; protruding load-bearing columns are embraced and complemented with two added decorative columns inspired by the Parthenon colonnade, restoring structural balance and framing display façades; the second floor interprets racetrack materiality by trapping real track sand under glass bricks, fusing raw vigor with refined grace; horseshoe-shaped counters and sculptural staircases gradually reveal iconography, deepening emotional resonance.

Functionality
The ground floor acts as an urban equestrian gallery and seamless indoor-outdoor transition, distilling displays to handcrafted saddles and riding apparel to ensure clear brand messaging; circulation flows ceremonially through the column quartet and toward the translucent ceiling inviting ascent; on the second floor, service corridors, offices, café, custom atelier, and logistics zones are unified by half-height fences with perforated metal gates that balance privacy with visual connectivity and guide users through “Departure–Exploration–Immersion.”

Creativity
Intangible horsemanship symbols are translated into spatial vocabulary as lighting systems abstractly echo equestrian gear and rammed earth walls with glass-brick textures evoke emotional contrasts; the narrative arc borrows the rhythm of dressage—from static art-gallery display to dynamic multifunctional scenes—while theatre-like exhibition spaces and sculptural staircases infuse each moment with dramatic tension.

Ecological and Social Value
Sustainability is woven into every layer: locally sourced tree-burl veneers transform natural “imperfections” into distinctive panels, reducing waste; straw-based biopaint on the ground-floor façade and recycled racetrack sand under second-floor glass bricks lower embodied carbon and close the “Racetrack DNA” narrative loop; situated in Minhang District near local equestrian centers, the project fosters emergent cultural communities and establishes a spiritually significant landmark.
