Design Bono participated in Seoul Design 2024 with a solo exhibition titled "Bono's Archive of Memories and Traces" from October 17th to 27th at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP). As the only space design company featured in the event, their exhibition was located in the DDP Eum-rim Square.

The pavilion serves as a memory storage concept that captures Bono's 21-year journey. Designed to showcase the studio's philosophy and essence, the space represents a narrative where traces of memories and thoughts interweave.

The pavilion's structure mirrors how different layers of memories and thoughts form a complete narrative, with four central column objects embodying Bono's memories and philosophy. These objects evoke imagery of a solitary tree enduring and growing in a barren field, resembling traces left behind after nature's storms. These traces are not merely remnants of challenging times, but beautiful memory fragments that have shaped Bono's current identity.

Visitors entering the pavilion experience a mixed digital and physical media environment through four video exhibitions nestled between the objects and folds. This immersive environment allows visitors to unfold Bono's memories, observe past traces, and sensually experience the studio's philosophy through meaningful interaction.

Beyond archival documentation, the exhibition aimed to communicate the studio's design challenges, rational thought processes, and philosophical evolution. Visitors could explore Bono Design's history, work processes, and a memory repository spanning past, present, and future.

Design Bono is a studio that prioritizes essence perceived beyond the five senses. Transcending boundaries between architecture, interior, product, and graphic design, they seek to think and express the holistic and organic essence of design. Through collaboration with guest experts, they pursue an "organic approach", "integrated perspective", and "cooperative implementation" to open new design horizons.
