On October 11 and 12, Workspace Design Show will come to Amsterdam, with an agenda-setting programme on the future of work environments.
To take place at Amsterdam’s RAI convention centre, the Workspace Design Show is set to bring architects, designers, developers, fit-out companies, coworking companies – as well as real estate, workplace and facilities leaders from occupiers across the Benelux region – together. Aimed at exploring tomorrow’s workspaces, the activity-filled two-day event gives visitors the opportunity to position themselves at the forefront of experiential work design, sharing, learning and brainstorming with sector leaders.
Driving the programme are 24 engaging panel discussions across two conferences, with insights from over 90 speakers. Participating companies include UNStudio, CBRE, MVRDV, Powerhouse Company, Cushman & Wakefield, HofmanDujardin, AECOM, Turner & Townsend and more. These dialogues will take place on Square One, an agora-like stage conceived by CBRE with sustainability in mind. In addition, 75 brands – such as Vitra, Pedrali, Ahrend, Sedus and Vepa – will present their furnitutre, lighting and accessory designs in an exhibition hall.
Interactive opportunities, like a moodboard contest and networking party, speak to the collaborative spirit of the event. Developed by Hollandse Nieuwe and sponsored by DUM, Interface and Woven Image, an immersive forum will serve as the epicentre of exploration and discovery. Organizations will share first-hand accounts of shaping workspaces that cater to the needs and aspirations of employees. Say the organizers: ‘As attendees immerse themselves in insightful discussions, encounter transformational products, and share conversations about the future, they become part of a movement that shapes the trajectory of workspaces.’
Ultimately, the programme will give visitors the tools they need to make workspaces truly equipped for an increasingly diverse and multi-generational workforce. ‘In the ever-evolving realm of design, workspaces have transcended their conventional roles to become hubs of innovation and boundless creativity,’ says Esha Bark-Jones, event director of Workspace Design Show.
