Pink Affair
Miriam Barrio Studio
Located in central Barcelona, Pink Affair is a 76-sq-m apartment designed by Mirriam Barrio Studio (Small Apartment). Undulating surfaces are a constant throughout Culture e Fine, an upscale beauty clinic for men in Osaka, Japan, designed by Supermaniac inc. (Colour). The reception and common areas are characterized by curving metallic surfacing hued in a blue-green oil slick-like patina. Treatment rooms continue to build on the prominent use of colour and materiality, instead leaning into more neutral tones and materials.

Hoba / Tosso / Oscar Wilde
Snark Inc.
Hoba / Tosso / Oscar Wilde is a plant-based food hub marrying three restaurants – two bistros and a doughnut shop – in one space (Restaurant). Snark Inc.'s design cleverly maximizes the 43-sq-m Tokyo venue through multi-functional interior spaces and a takeaway window oriented to the street. Tile and glass surfaces vary in colour from each designated concept but maintain continuity in form. ‘Functionality at its core,’ says Blair Cooper, creative director at Seen Studios. ‘Flexibility over day and night maximizes impact and reach across hours, and allows for a shared back-of-house space.’
