Going beyond a product gallery and service centre, the Nu Skin Singapore Experience Centre brings the brand to life with an engaging space that reflects Nu Skin’s uplifting personality and high-tech innovation. These new premises have a smaller footprint that is two-thirds of its previous location. The challenge was thus to successfully design and execute a space that felt like an upgrade despite its reduced size, and still maintain the award-winning retail experience and even raise the game for the brand in today’s competitive business landscape. Our design focused on how to empower Nu Skin’s community of distributors and consumers, with conducive areas for meetings, work, or training, and a variety of seating typologies to provide choice and flexibility. To better accommodate the brand’s popular events, the spatial solution included multiple entrances and circulation possibilities so that it could be used as one big venue, or as smaller sections that could be closed off as needed, accommodating varying levels of traffic without sacrificing comfort or security. A wall of lush greenery draws visitors' eyes even before they enter, the arresting design a proud declaration of Nu Skin’s dedication to sustainability in both its space and its products. The layout makes the most of natural light and takes the shape of an organically circulating space with carefully positioned seating and displays. Numerous product showcases scattered throughout the Experience Centre create a natural journey that draws the visitor into the Nu Skin world. Big and bold brand graphics add to this experiential showroom, showcasing the brand’s exciting product developments and creating a happy home base, helping attract, energize and retain its network of direct selling representatives. The uplifting design and focus on positive messaging such as the “Discover the best you” feature wall also act to motivate its community, while the strong nature theme rejuvenates. Visitors familiar with Nu Skin will recognise the nuanced details: radiant surfaces and beautiful textures inspired by nature form a setting that feels uplifting, further strengthening the brand connection. Woven together with interactive digital displays, it forms a design narrative that reflects and heighten Nu Skin’s innovation and brand history as well as inspire visitors, amplifying their shopping experience.
