With this exhibition, Triennale Milano opens its doors once again to fashion, giving voice to Monica Bolzoni, an important yet still little-known designer. The exhibition design is driven by a twofold impulse: curiosity about Bolzoni's work and a deep respect for the visitors. From these premises, a clear and multipart itinerary has come to life, structured so as to imprint itself in the memory of everyone. For this reason is important to create exhibition forms that break the standardization of spaces, that offer visual reference points, a sort of 'Ariadne's thread' that helps the public orient and fix what they have seen in their memory.

The starting point of the design is an understanding of Bolzoni's language, a world made up of modularity, dreamy playfulness and a distinct femininity. The itinerary unfolds in several episodes, starting with a full-length silver lamé curtain, a striking entrance that leads to the first two niches dedicated to Bolzoni's world.

This is followed by the main exhibition space, a 260-square-meter area marked by modular elements that pay homage to the designer's stylistic signature. The dreamy, playful aspect, on the other hand, is realized through a play of mirrors, a recurring element in Bolzoni's work, which recalls her iconic dressing room in the Bianca e Blu store (BB1) on Via De Amicis, Milan. The same mirror play is seen in the "carousel" at the center of the exhibition space, a kaleidoscope of reflections that envelops visitors and incorporates them into the installation.

The "carousel" occupies a central, strategic position as a hub connecting the four main exhibition islands arranged around it, before the large backdrop of mirrors and inclined panels at the end of exhibition. Unlike the other islands characterized by rectangular shapes, the "carousel" is round, a softer and more welcoming space.

The final episode of the exhibition presents Bolzoni's manifesto, in which the designer defines the difference between fashion and fashion design, and then leads visitors to the exit via a ramp decorated with "flying elements, that is, texts that summarize Bolzoni's vision.
