BIDAW Curry is located in Shenzhen's Futian District in the UpperHills, with a large commercial flow and an outstanding location. Faced with a Thai restaurant, the design intervenes as an important place for the dissemination of Thai culture, aiming to create a new field of exotic culture where every consumer can feel the regional flavor and free and open cultural atmosphere of Southeast Asia.
The space is designed with Thai curry as the inspiration. As the main menu of the restaurant, the design interprets the three colors represented by yellow, red and green curry as the constituent elements of the inorganic space, while other plants are the accent elements of the space, distributed in various unexpected surprises, simulating the reappearance of scenes from the tropics and expressing the diverse vitality of Thai culture.
BIDAW Curry is a rectangular space layout, consisting of three parts: water bar area, dining area and kitchen area, with a simple and clear structure. The clear spatial movement line extends from the entrance water bar area to the open kitchen, and the secondary movement line is then diverted for order and flexibility. The red facade is particularly eye-catching, retro and straight to the current trend, and the outward swinging area at the entrance creates a relaxing scene at the first impression, forming a complete link from outside to inside.
The interior of the restaurant creates a maximum viewable area within a limited space through different horizontal differences, ensuring that consumers can dine comfortably despite sitting next to each other, creating a certain visual difference. The dining area is segregated into two spaces, one of which is created through the natural light simulated by the ceiling and the surrounding greenery, breaking through the single spatial composition to create a complete ecosystem.
