Departing from the singular attribute of conventional residential spaces, the project pioneers innovative design language, multifunctional scenarios, and sustainable practices to foster a refined community environment where artistry, functionality, and ecology converge—redefining the ideals of contemporary urban living.
Innovation:
Anchored by the concept of “second living room,” the project boldly reimagines the residential community’s public areas as a dynamic hub that seamlessly integrates social interaction, cultural engagement, and lifestyle aesthetics. The project logo’s signature petal motif is translated into polygonal floor patterns, where directional stone veining and subtle mosaic patterning create understated visual harmony. The fabrication process employs digital templating to ensure geometric precision, crafting a timeless aesthetic that transcends fleeting trends and ornamental excess. The spatial composition establishes a geometric dialogue through vertically aligned elements: a parametric GRG dome ceiling resonates with the circular stone bar counter beneath, generating a cohesive visual rhythm. Meanwhile, cream-toned travertine backdrops, sculpted into flowing waves through parametric modeling, weaves a natural touch into the built environment.
Functionality:
The spatial design seamlessly integrates functionality and aesthetics. The reception counter, crafted from durable travertine, showcases elegant linear fluting details, perfectly balancing practicality with visual appeal. The bar counter, sculpted from a monolithic stone block, features fluid curves that are accentuated by the ambient lighting of the GRG dome ceiling, fostering a dynamic setting for interaction, leisure, and artistic expression.
Creativity:
The project reinterprets local culture through a creative design language. The entry portal features patinated metalwork, hand-hammered to evoke the texture of time, generating a tactile contrast with the warmth of wood veneers. Cream-hued travertine, delicately sculpted through wave-milling and concave carving, gives natural stone a digitally mediated aesthetic. The laser-engraved solid bronze logo is engineered to develop a lustrous patina over time, endowing the space with a sense of growth. Through these elements, the design liberates the space from stasis, activating its energy and turning the architecture into a vessel of cultural memory and contemporary lifestyle aesthetics.
Eco-Social Impact:
Guided by a commitment to sustainability, the project embraces eco-conscious materials including low-VOC coatings, recyclable GRG panels, and recycled wood treated for moisture and corrosion resistance—reducing environmental impact while conserving resources. The communal “Second Living Room,” supported by bespoke concierge services, fosters an age-inclusive social network that strengthens community interaction and cohesion.
