Gathering space as “Studio” and “Gallery”

This space proposes new model for communication between customers and the store.

It achieves not only a commercial act of looking and buying the products lined up on shelves, but also seek for new relationships of “customers and the space” in “between spaces” where various attempts could be made through communication. This clothing store is focused on “try on”, aimed to provide better experience of trying on products.

Soft curves are applied to lines on the ground to create comfortable atmosphere for changing. The display shelves running all along the walls provides new and diverse options. The front waiting area was designed like a living room of a house that could generates communication between people and where they can relax.

This space is meant to create purposeful experience by introducing not just clothes but also cosmetics, local products, various presentations of life styles and outfit coordinates. Elements of traditional tailor shops that has reliable atmosphere has extracted and applied in new ways to produce professional and sophisticated atmosphere.
