Intuit’s Bayshore Building is the second office building built from scratch on their Mountain View campus. The design was created by Clive Wilkinson Architects with WRNS Studio before the pandemic; however the interiors were redesigned during construction to reflect Intuit's unique hybrid work model.

MTV-22 Bayshore showcases Intuit's new design philosophy that puts employee experience at the forefront, prioritizes collaboration and productivity and energizes the company's people. It embodies their commitment to excellence, and attention to detail, diversity, and inclusion. The four-story, LEED Platinum building supports approximately 1,000 employees working in a hybrid approach. Large floor plates are organized into flexible, human-scaled neighborhoods, providing each team with space for collaboration, concentration, and socialization. It brings progressive workplace thinking to life by providing various spaces to support the ever-evolving needs of the post-pandemic workplace. It is a living example of reimagining the office's role in a hybrid future.

Upon entry, guests are greeted by a bright blue metal wall and a seamless reception desk emerging from the polished concrete floor. Moving through the lobby, one encounters the jewel-box “Little House” hospitality space and the grand wood-clad stairs draped in greenery that ascend to the heart of the building – an airy three-story atrium filled with natural light. With a sixty-foot span, vast clerestory windows draw natural light deep into the broad floor plates, creating a textured, inspiring, reflective environment. The clerestory windows also help the building meet ambitious energy and carbon goals. A metal-clad blue stair winds upward through the atrium, passing cantilevered meeting pods and balconies that project into the space. The stairs encourage movement and engagement, enticing the Intuit community to wander through the building and discover its myriad offerings while connecting. This vibrant hub creates a focal point for adjacent co-working areas, a coffee bar, a game space, and other lively amenities.

The open office environments use bold and playful architectural and furniture finishes, layering in hospitality design elements while providing diverse work settings surrounded by lush plants. A raised access floor system future-proofs the work areas, allowing flexibility to reconfigure infrastructure easily. A large dining area with a full-service ground-level kitchen doubles as a space for Town Hall meetings and wider campus events.

As a testament to Intuit's commitment to inclusivity, the new building offers various work environments to support the employee base with diverse needs and personal preferences. Amenities that support Intuit’s diverse employee experience - an interactive hub for creative collaboration, areas for quiet reflection, and three quiet libraries – are sprinkled throughout the building to encourage further movement and exploration.
