For the SS23 season launch, the KaDeWe Group's Window Concept for the Luxury Department Store KaDeWe is inspired by the rejuvenation and revitalisation that springtime brings.
'Symphonie der Euphorie' ('Symphony of Euphoria') is an ode to spring. It reflects when we awaken from the darker winter months with an uplifted feeling stimulated by the changes we see in nature. Spring is a time of transformation, renewal and growth, surrounded by the blossoming natural world and its elements. The window designs aim to capture this spirit.
The designs are based on the dream-like, artificially generated CGI natural worlds of sun, sky, flora and water, providing the backdrop to the beautiful new product assortment at KaDeWe. Tailor-made window designs, that were also executed at the Group's Department Stores Alsterhaus in Hamburg and Oberpollinger in Munich, feature a variety of presentation techniques.
Untamed wave-like mirror surfaces create special light reflections and changing colour effects as customers pass by. Mirror side walls and reflective floors create the illusion of infinite space. Angled image panels add playful fragmentation of the background visual. Multiple layers create depth in the windows, columns highlight the colourful images and create a dramatic stage for the mannequins. Bright refreshing colours and moving reflections combine to capture a composition of new beginnings and a sense of emotional awakening.
Vibrant digital content is a real eye-catcher highlighting the new collection. The campaign is featured across all digital channels, as well as in-store and in the shop windows in Berlin, Hamburg and Munich.
For these windows KaDeWe worked with local production and installation teams. Prototypes were integrated into the final windows and elements such as image frames, accessory presenters and LED screens will be reused for future installations.
