The 1000 square meter BOLD store located in the Mall Costanera Center, celebrates the 8-year journey of the Chilean brand BOLD, raising its standard and marking a statement that seeks to build a deeper connection with the brand community by creating a store “ live". The space offers consumers access to brands such as Carhartt, Stussy, Nike and Superplastic among others and products for men, women and children, all carried out with a unique and exclusive curatorship.
The project
The assignment consisted of creating a store that surprises and constantly changes for the visitor, a “living” store. The consumer today changes to the rhythm of social networks and the physical experience could not be left behind. A system of pixel lights was worked on that goes from the façade to the end of the store, marking the route through the roof. These lights change color and animation according to the brand's marketing campaigns and events, creating a new and different experience each time the store is visited. This technology was developed jointly with the company Protopixel in Spain and Brillo Colectivo Chile, both experts in lighting installations.
Center
The layout and flow of the store was designed so that the consumer discovers new environments as they go through the space. The center of the store is the heart of the brand. There they worked with materials such as wood and brick, coverings that are present in other stores and connect the Flagship with the essence of BOLD. Just past the center of the store is a mirror-lined bunker that houses Retro Basket merchandise. This space that seeks to be invisible within the visible, connects the consumer with the culture of basketball. Its interior is inspired by the closets of the players' dressing rooms and metallic, reflective materials and led lights were used, contrasting the bricks and wood of the exterior, creating an intimate space with an experience that isolates the consumer from the rest of the store. , wrapping you in a new scent, new music, and elevated products that grab your attention.
Final
At the end of the tour we find a collection of sneakers from the best brands. This space is characterized by being elevated 60 cm from the floor of the store, presenting itself as a "stage" and the culminating point of the experience. The floor is made of glass and is illuminated with white led strips, revealing sneaker collections at our feet, surprising the consumer from head to toe and highlighting all the models that are presented there.
