Monolith draws inspiration from the block of marble that is removed from the rock and maintains its geometries and dimensions. Conceived as a bathroom, it was structured with honeycomb technology, which allowed Monolith to contain the specific weight, reducing the noble marble cladding to approximately 5 mm thick. The specific weight of the structure is therefore very low. Designed for outdoors, Monolith can become a support bathroom for outdoor swimming pools, terraces, historic villas or inside apartments, suites, bedrooms as its weight is within the capacity of steel and concrete floors. Made entirely of stone, Monolith can take on the marble covering of the context in which it will be inserted or simply according to the tastes requested by the customer. Furthermore, marble can be worked according to the architect's requests, polished, matt, bush-hammered or with raised veins depending on the type of stone used and the required effect. Monolith is a project of Pavilion B, created with the technology and support of A.A.T.C. Marble and Granite.
