Departing from internet-based sales and aiming to expand its physical presence, German-born bicycle brand Canyon has opened its first official service location in the Netherlands.

Key features

Located in Eindhoven, the brand’s Factory Service centre offers new bike assembly and tailored maintenance. Designed by Brinkworth, the rectangular space is fully utilized to accommodate four distinct services: New Bike Day, Repair & Warranty, Spare Parts, and Bike Fitting. Custom furniture and a modular product display wall create separate zones, ensuring that all functionalities have their own space of operation without interference. Three booths serve for new order pick-ups and assembly, providing a private moment for customers to discover more about the origins, details and specifications of their just-bought bikes. The modular merchandising furniture by Brinkworth allows the space to respond to future needs through functional modification, layout reconfiguration, material swapping or the addition of displays. The store is outfitted in blackened steel, oak and backlit polycarbonate, and a hand-painted mural by Johan Moorman infuses local flair and colour into the monochromatic interior.

Brinkworth’s design reflects a customer-focused approach with distinct, yet connected, zones ensuring the uninterrupted operation of each service. The modular sets of display and furniture allow for spatial reconfigurations and an agile in-store experience, ensuring that the service centre adapts to the fluctuating needs of its local clientele.
