How do I submit to FRAME Awards 2024

  1. Create a free account. You'll receive a verification link via email.

  3. Login to your account, fill in the required information and upload your images on the submissions page.

Which category should I submit my work to?

FRAME Awards covers the entire spectrum of interiors, spatial and product design, as well as the people behind them. Our submission guide will help you to find which of our 33 categories is the right fit for your work.

Can I submit a project or product in more than one category?

A project or product may be submitted in multiple categories, which increases your project or product's exposure and opportunity to win. Once you've uploaded the relevant information, description, images and plans, you can select the category(ies) that best suits your project or product. You can pay for multiple submissions in a single transaction.

Can I submit a space/product that was already submitted to last year’s FRAME Awards?

Projects or products that were submitted in the FRAME Awards 2023 are not eligible for re-submission in the same category. However, a project or product previously nominated in an Awards category may be submitted in a different category.

What is the difference between Winner of the Month and Winner of the Year?

The monthly jury panel will vote for one Winner of the Month as well as four Honourable Mentions, regardless of category.

At the end of the submission period, the five highest-scoring submissions in each sub-category will be automatically shortlisted for FRAME Awards 2024.

The grand jury consisting of representatives from previous monthly jury panels will deliberate and choose the Winner of the Year in each sub-category, which result in one winner from each of the 33 categories.

What is the eligibility period for Projects and products?

We are accepting spatial or product designs that have been completed after 1 January 2022.

What does it take to make a successful submission?

We highly recommend you address how your work aligns with the four evaluation criteria. Your explanation will significantly influence the jury's voting and deliberation process.

Innovation: Does the space or product introduce a new concept within its sector?

Creativity: Is the design of the space or product original and inventive?

Functionality: Is the space or product designed with a focus on human needs and experiences?

Sustainability: Does the design of the space or product contribute to social, economic and environmental wellbeing?

What are the specifications for the images that I submit?

Images must be a minimum of 300 dpi. Please upload a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 15 high-resolution images. We recommend that the first image be one that best showcases your project or product and is in landscape orientation. You must include captions, and photo credits if applicable. The maximum image size is 15 MB.

I'm having trouble uploading images in the submission form.

We recommend using Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox or Internet Explorer 11. Please note that you may experience errors with the submission form if you do not use one of these recommended browsers. Please ensure that the image file name does not contain any special characters such as '#', '.', '@', '$', or '%'.

Can I edit my submission?

Payment confirms the submission of your entry. Submission entries may not be changed, edited, retracted, or reassigned to another award category once payment has been made. This includes adding or changing images.

Do I need to submit floor plans?

The FRAME Awards does require at least one sketch or floor plan for submissions to give the jury a better sense of your project and create a better judging experience.

Can I withdraw my submission?

You can withdraw your entry at any time before the final deadline. Submission fees will not be reimbursed if the submission is withdrawn. If you wish to withdraw your submission, contact us at awards@frameweb.com

What is the deadline?

The last day to submit is on 8 May 2024.

Can I submit my entry in any language?

While the FRAME Awards is an international award that recognizes work and designers from around the world, all entries must be submitted in English to be accepted.

How long does it take to complete the submission?

If you have all the materials, it will take you approximately 15 minutes. Please allow sufficient time to complete your submission entry before the final closing date of 8 May 2024. It should not take longer than a couple of hours to gather the information and image materials you need to upload to the form, however, we would recommend that to ensure your entry is as strong as possible, the more time spent on preparation the better. You can save your entry and come back and update it at any time before the deadline, so you do not need to submit it until you are happy with it. Completing the submission form and making the payment should not take more than a few minutes.

How much does it cost to submit an entry?

Regular submissions (23 November 2023 - 17 April 2024) are €275 per entry.

What options do I have to pay for my submission?

Payment can be made via credit card, iDEAL, Google Pay and SEPA Debit. Please contact us at awards@frameweb.com if you are experiencing difficulties with the payment process.

Will I be charged VAT?

Only if you are located in the Netherlands, or if you are located in the EU but do not provide a valid EU VAT number.

If your billing address is in an EU country other than the Netherlands, you will be charged 21% VAT unless you provide a valid EU VAT number.

If your billing address is in the Netherlands, you will be charged with 21% VAT.

If your billing address is outside the EU, you are exempt from VAT.

Can I have an invoice for my submission payment?

Once payment has been completed, you will find your invoice in your frameweb.com account under Settings > Shipping and Billing. Additionally, you will receive a confirmation email indicating the successful submission of your entry. Please allow a few minutes for this email to arrive.

When will I know if my project/product has been shortlisted?

The shortlist will be announced on 12 September 2024. We will contact FRAME Awards 2024 nominees via the email address used to submit. Also, the nominees will be announced via our website, press release and social media channels.

What do I get if I win an award?

Yearly winners will get mentioned in an Awards Ceremony, our social media and newsletters, dedicated frameweb.com articles, appear in FRAME magazine and will receive their very own FRAME Awards trophy.
