Architectural firm A-cero has designed a house with a distinctly modern aesthetic. The three-storey residential building in Las Rozas, Madrid has a sculptural feel thanks to projecting blocks and plates. The exterior of the house is clad in beige marble which, together with the white walls and ceiling inside, creates a feeling of spaciousness and luminosity. Each storey features floor-to-ceiling windows ensuring maximum light gets into the building. Inside, the design has been kept simple and clean, and a sense of transparency has been created through glass walkways and see-through partitions. The house is set over three floors, including a basement level, which was possible thanks to the sloping plot of land. As well as a number of bedrooms and bathrooms, the house also includes two swimming pools and a sauna.
