X BANK is a collective fusion between fashion, art, design, culture and an urban monument located in a hybrid two-storied space. X BANK brings together the evolution in the new Dutch DNA- a DNA that is global, a DNA that is local, a DNA that builds together. Its ground floor is predominantly used for exhibitions and lectures while the second floor showcases no less than 180 Dutch talents. X BANK is a space that invites us to invest our interest and share our values by engaging with spontaneous synthesis between fashion art and design.
In a world where information, people and emotions are constantly intertwining, the XBANK concept fits perfectly into time and place. The design for the XBANK immerses from this very “raison d'etre” and nourishes its innovative mind set by introducing a spatial retail machine which can be tuned on a minute basis by an endless number of display configurations. To that end, we explored notions which go hand in hand with the XBANK character: Evolve Dynamic, Temporarily, Flexibility, Versatility, Flow, Play, Explore, Discover, Surprise and Desire.
