Legend has it that when Boya played the harpsichord, Ziqi could immediately tell whether the melody meant “high mountain” or “flowing water”. Thus, they became soul mates to each other.
This “high mountain or flowing water” story of Boya and Ziqi dating back to 2000 years ago is taken as the design theme for the show house of this apartment project. Our intention is indeed to show the harmonious expression between “mountains and rivers” in our show house
The light and darkness of space and the rhythm of opening up are also one of the keys to the project. For designers, this change in space and atmosphere is the most attractive part in the traditional Chinese space. Therefore, our designers use natural light and artificial light to alternate the space sequence, and the light and darkness of the space also follow the alternation of the natural light and the artificial light.
The synchronization process is carefully arranged, so that the sight is transparent, closed, or semi-permeable and when people enter here, they see the reappearance of classical “courtyard encirclements” and hear the harmonious tone of ancient songs of “high mountains and flowing water” at different time and from different angles. To some extent, this is also a classic way to pay tribute to time and space.
