Inspired by specific details of the logo and the signature sunglasses from WHATEVER. Roomoo Design studio placed two rotatable installations combined the function of displaying right in the center of the store. The form of these installations also visualized the sound vibration of vocalized words “Whatever” and “Attitude”. 14 pieces of oval aluminum plates in different sizes are assembled to one central tube structure each, and stands freely in the center of the 45m2 store. By walking along these two metal creatures, customs browsing and shopping the sunglasses at the same time to exploring the space. Each of the aluminum plate is laser cut to a customized pattern also designed for this brand. And by loosing 60% weight from the aluminum, the installation devises can be placed in different angles easily by holding and turning the handle from both sides. This gives the flexibility for display the products and possibility for various of circulations in the store. The lighting in the central tube structures and the three-layers transparent acrylic boards maximized the details of the product from different angles. A clean and concise presentation of aluminum shelves with angled mirror on top are set on three sides of walls that also carry the function of display the sunglasses. Arrow elements appeared on the punched aluminum plates and tiles are used on celling and floor as a metaphor of extension of the central installations.
