Nestled within the newly opened Durango Casino and Resort just off the Las Vegas Strip, Wax Rabbit Speakeasy is a distinctive hospitality concept that blends myth, artistry, and innovation into an immersive guest experience. A collaboration between Station Casinos, Clique Hospitality, and Studio Munge, the venue offers more than just cocktails—it offers a journey through storytelling, design, and cultural symbolism.

The foundation of Wax Rabbit’s design is rooted in an ancient Mexican myth: the legend of El Centzon Tōtōchtin, the 400 Divine Rabbits born from Mayahuel, the goddess of the agave plant, and Patecatl, god of Pulque. These spirited beings were believed to inhabit those who indulged in agave-based liquors. This narrative becomes the central theme and design language of the speakeasy, influencing everything from spatial layout to artistic detail. Rather than using theme as superficial decoration, the story is embedded into the experience, unfolding gradually and engaging the senses at every turn.
