W Suzhou´s design narrative is inspired by the city’s classical gardens, collectively a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Rockwell Group combined W´s DNA with cultural and contextual elements of this heritage garden city. The traditional Chinese garden components—lakes, rocks, pavilions, and gates—are reimagined as levitating, dreamlike elements and woven through contemporary and innovative design features. W Suzhou projects guests into a different dimension, combining past and future in a magical, surreal dream.
