The client is agent for many brands of decorative paints and microcement. He hope this space can easily attracts customers to the store and reflects the colors and textures of various types of coatings.
Decorative paints not only adds artistic charm to the materials surface, but also is healthy and environmentally friendly. The entire space is all use the customer's low-voc(volatile organic compounds) or no-voc coatings, and the integrated design of the top wall and floor makes the space more pure and harmonious.
Because the store is located in the mall and there are high-rise buildings with reinforced concrete nearby, we have introduced the concept of urban mountain forest for this design. We want to give customers who enter the shop a feeling of sightseeing and touring the new Chinese garden.
The traffic flow is from the right side of the entrance to the decorative paints display area of different colors and materials. There is a feeling of viewing different strange stones in the garden. After coming to the straight corridor, you can see a row of young bamboo planted by the window. After putting down the curtains, the green bamboo is looming under the exposure of the window screening and sunlight , or virtual or real, just like a beautiful Chinese ink painting. Secondly, there is a narrow triangular area in the upper left corner of this shop. We decided to make this area into a landscape area .We conceived this area for a long time, and finally combined the concept of Chinese rammed earth walls and canyons.
A square hole with a spotlight was opened at the top of the deep canyon. When the light turn on, it's like a beam of hope shining from the dark canyon of early morning time. We designed two oval spaces around two load-bearing column, namely large negotiation area and small tea room space. The ceiling has a sense of suspension by the design of building walls not reach the top. Referring to the moon gates in classical Chinese gardens and the window in classical Chinese pagoda, a circular hole and multiple square holes were opened on the walls of these two spaces. This design not only makes the entire space brighter, but also gives customers who pass by the entrance a feeling of half hidden and half exposed, which attracts them to stop and enter the store.
The tea room space is like a Chinese pavilion and customers can also enjoy the sight of the landscape area while drinking tea. A staircase was made in the lower left corner of the store to the second floor, and a stairs was drawn with coatings to echo the real one, which symbolizes the false and real. There is also a small storage room under the staircase. Employees' office supplies are placed upstairs to ensure the cleanliness and aesthetics of the downstairs area.Looking down at the canyon area and central area from above is like looking at the beautiful scenery from the top of the mountain.
Several local colors and furnishings in the entire space add a touch of different charm to the project.
