We turned a fragmented, dull apartment into a dynamic 3 level boutique urban Office for a local property developer.
Using light, reflection and filtered layers the interior uses bold geometry and takes cues from early modernism, creating unique spatial experiences that deliver a non hierarchical and unexpected boutique working environment.
Designed for 8 staff, over 3 levels with Garaging and within a modest 12.4 x 8.5m footprint, this interior shifts seamlessly between separately programmed office areas and different functions every few steps.
The brief called for a relaxed and unique workplace for a small team of staff and management and we approached this by creating the opposite of a typical corporate Office, creating a calm and relaxed atmosphere, as if one were working from home.
Due to size and natural lighting restraints, we eliminated the typical hierarchy of rooms and room functions, blending all the functional requirements into a series of flowing spaces and geometric elements so that they read visually as open plan.
