A space inspiring sensitivity to desire of people pursuing constant beauty, Medical industry is steadily on the rise since people seek to be infinitely beautiful, and the technical competency has been already proved. However, the aesthetic medical industry in our country can no longer stand out only with ability superiority. With this in mind, this design project aimed to inspire desire in customers by making psychological and emotional approaches. This project focused on how to express and accentuate the space in an emotional manner. This space with a sky view on the 15th floor covering the area of more than 600 m2 with the floor height of 4.4 m commands a panoramic view toward Teheran-ro. The given environment offered an agreeable condition to create a story appropriate for this project. The floor height of 4.4 m made it possible to express “leveling in the space,” the high and low effects in the space, and apply it in a multifarious manner. Taking advantage of mass and forms constituting the leveling, the project intended to design a space full of atmosphere inspiring imagination, beyond the one-dimensional and symbolic approaches. By adding the curve touches to the reiterated leveling and mass, we considered the subtle way of evoking emotions of customers, and wished to create an emotional space imbued with poetic and metaphorical hues where the great mass is embraced by soft lines. In particular, the space beyond the curve structure encompassing the entirety of the waiting space was designed to allow visitors to associate it with a dimension arousing a sort of mysterious feeling taking to a veiled and ambiguous world. The overall tone and manner applied mid-tone sandy texture and emphasized earthy colors, while considering the enrichment of highlighting colors based on modern expression of the main color. The space where a variety of languages mingles underneath will surely inspire sensitivity in visitors dreaming to be more beautiful. Overview of development of the interior structure When it comes to medical spaces, what matters most is the functional arrangement. This means that the plane considering the traffic line of users is determined through a series of consultation and discussion with medical staff members and the designer team. We will present the interior structure of toxnfill, Samsung Branch, located on the 15th floor covering the area of covering the area of more than 600 m2 with the floor height of 4.4 m. The place has advantages that are hardly available in the Gangnam area. On the other hand, some limited factors are also present here in terms of the businesslike atmosphere made of curtain wall of an efficiency apartment building and the sunlight that is uncontrollable by hour. However, the panoramic view from a building located on Teheran-ro near Samsung Subway Station provides the visitors with blissful fantasy on even stepping in the elevator hall. From the Information Desk in front of the entrance, there are a main waiting hall and a counseling office on the right side. On the left side, consultation rooms, procedure rooms and skin care rooms are placed. Thus, natural flow of the traffic line is assured. Being guided from the Desk Information, visitors can see the main waiting hall on the right side. There are many seats available in the waiting hall with the curve form as if to embrace the entire structure. It is no exaggeration to say that it is possible to see the whole huge panoramic view of Teheran-ro at a single glance from the seats placed by the windows. Though this is a waiting hall facing southeast where the intense sunlight comes in, the functionality extended by setting up a big curve wall, and stair-type waiting hall could form by using the wall. This curve wall is considered sharing of a functional space aiming at balanced adjustment between benefits and weakness. In the center of the waiting hall, there is a pillar in line with architectural arrangement. The natural finishing materials are incorporated in the space in the inartificial manner. The counseling room is placed next to the waiting hall, and display furniture is put between the two spaces. This plays a role not only as a product displayer but also as a blocker of view from the counseling space to assure privacy. The customer is guided to the consultation room after counseling. This traffic line is also divided into a VIP route and a general patient route. From the Information Desk, the left route is for new and general patients, while the right route is for VIPs. On the right side of the Director of the Clinic, the VIP Zone is placed to allow procedure treatment in the same place. Along the general patient route on the left side, we designed rooms in order of a consultation room, an open procedure room, a waxing room and a surgery room. A traffic line for skin care for revisiting patients is separated. On the left side of the Information Desk, there are a fitting room, a private face-washing room and a middle waiting room. Visitors are guided moving to each space in order of the room placement, For a placement with enhanced functionality, plane layout was designed by applying a square island-type shape in the center of the entire space. Based on this functional arrangement, we intended to create manifold spaces by adding some interesting elements between each space to relieve monotony.
