Five spaces follow one another within the gallery, allowing visitors to discover a particular facet of the world of LV in each of them.
As soon as they enter, visitors are immersed in a setting that evokes sci-fi movies of old, conjuring up images of technological prowess, past, present and future. A broad point of view on the first level of the exhibition offers an overall picture to perceive all the richness and complexity of LV. Frames highlighted by led rails evoke the lines of the interiors of space capsules. The visitor will notice that the scenographic elements are all on wheels, like an ode to nomadism and travel.
The modules of the next sequence house a series of screens, not unlike portholes overlooking distant landscapes, which merge to form an ethereal view of the cosmos.
The visit continues in the heart of intimate boudoirs presenting the objects of an enchanted daily life. The scale of these spaces creates a particular proximity to objects. It’s an invitation to approach the windows. Here we play with scales. These spaces refer just as much to the interior upholstery of the trunks as to the interiors of "2001 A Space Odyssey".
The visitor's field of vision is broadened once again with a monumental scene composed of serial display cases paying tribute to the House's icons. The monochromy of this space highlights their evolution over time.
In general, the aesthetic vocabulary of the entire scenography claims a look into the future of a living heritage.
