“King Skyfront” is an area of Kawasaki City called Kawasaki Tonamachi that is highly developing into an international area. It sits on the south shoreline directly across from Haneda International Airport within the Kawasaki district of a 40-hectare area and surrounded by life science corporations from around the world, including health and medical research facilities. On one corner of King Skyfront, The WAREHOUSE opened to the public. It is a hotel complex comprised of a hotel, co-work spaces, a restaurant, roof bar, barbeque, and lifestyle facilities. The site was formerly part of Isuzu Motors, a highly established Japanese company that was a top manufacturer of the Keihin Industry. The design incorporates memories of the site by creating an industrial feel to the project with factory and warehouse elements. The building is a simple and functional place that provides various activities including “study”, “play” and “stay” that ensures freedom and flexibility for its visitors and allow the prospect of new ideas to take place
