Pirata Group, Hong Kong’s curator of extraordinary memorable experiences, is proud to announce the opening of their largest ever hospitality development: The Sixteenth - a new collection of restaurants housed within a single self-contained dining environment in Oxford House, Taikoo Place in Hong Kong.
The 18,000 square foot, 400-seat destination features four signature restaurants, two Italian concepts (Theatrical Trattoria, La Favorita and Al Fresco Incredibile, Tempo Tempo) and two Japanese (Sushi Club, Honjokko and Good Times Temakeria, TMK Funk & Rolls).
Named after the numerical title for the Eastern District of Hong Kong, The Sixteenth is set to be a dining and entertainment hub for residents and workers in the area, drawing guests from further afield with Pirata Group’s signature dining service and restaurant ambiance, including one of Hong Kong’s largest outdoor terraces, and some of the city’s most captivating interiors.
Our design team break 18,000 square feet into four distinct areas for unique dining experiences. The spaces must flow, yet, introduce the senses to specific, unmistakable zones. Each of the restaurants represent a different culture, time and place, we use mainly colours and bespoke, curated materials to make sure each individual space stays unique. While the team used neutral elements and colours such as the warm colour of the corridor, passage in the hallway to tie the restaurant together, as well as to provide visual counterpoint and escape from the corporate look and feel of Taikoo Place. Once guests step into The Sixteenth, guests are able to travel to a different time & space where they can experience warmth & authenticity, switch off and relax.
