Cult luxury concept store The Shop at Bluebird is part of The Jigsaw Group launched in 2005. In May 2018 after 12 years as an iconic destination on the King’s Road, we were commissioned to design a new flagship experience for The Shop at Bluebird in a new, central London location and to help to reposition it for a wider international audience. The chosen home was the historic Carriage Hall on Floral Street, a beautiful Grade II-listed Victorian coach house in the centre of Covent Garden’s retail renaissance. We were briefed to create a physical experience that expresses the essence of the brand but pushes it further, a place where people are inspired, yet feel completely relaxed. It’s an eclectic oasis of hidden gems. The Shop at Bluebird customer is as diverse and eclectic as the edit in the store. They are global, affluent, influential and informed. They have a sense of fun and exploration that is mirrored by TSAB values and they visit the store to discover and be entertained. We developed the experience idea “A Playground of Wonders” for the 15,000-square-foot flagship spectacular, whimsical, welcoming, relaxed, the best of everything, inclusive, alive, free-spirited, creative... an escape from the normal to be wowed and inspired.
