VUE Hotel’s first flagship property (also Design Hotels 1st Beijing member) is located in the Hutong district next to Houhai lake.

Housed in a former warehouse building, the hotel’s dining venue comprises of The Pink Rabbit restaurant and the Moon Bar in the same building, offering a carefully selected menu of global tapas and Spanish cuisine, as well as cocktails and liquor.

The Pink Rabbit’s casual but sophisticated atmosphere plays itself out in the interior design. The exposed metal and wood trusses, open display kitchen, lounge style seating paired with a feature bar and DJ counter, contribute to the overall upbeat vibe. On the ground floor, a series of private dining rooms provide exclusive entertaining. The restaurant features dramatically high ceilings providing an airy, spacious feel around an open display kitchen, and seats 200+ indoor/outdoor.

On the 2nd floor, the rooftop Moon Bar and Jacuzzi pool offer a treetop alfresco experience, with full views of the picturesque Houhai lake, an ideal location for private parties, seating 100+ in total. We added a glass solarium around the bar to make it comfortable in winter (with a series of heat lamps outdoors), and this structure can be dissembled if needed in summer.
