‘360° living circle’ concept could be visualized in this 38 square meters apartment. The price keep rising, far exceeding the affordability of the public. The developers therefore reduce the area of the apartment. For those with less than 15 square meters, the apartment can be called a "nano-flat". While the space is getting smaller and smaller in “nano flat”, quality of life is still pursued. The cylinder is built to form a circle, which not only have panoramic lifestyle, but also utilize every inches of space. The first impression of entrance is the key to design. There is originally an open kitchen at the foyer. Due to the lack of aesthetics in design and location of placing the shoes in function, the foyer have to be re-planned. The first impression of the entrance is the key of design. The walk-in closet is reflected by the full-length mirror. The entire visual picture is widened. It is convenient to dress up and take off the shoes. The open studio reflects a calm and understated style at the corner, with neutral tones composed of subtle greys and light whites. The full-height bookcase is highlighted with metal lines, from the ground to the ceiling, and the ceiling seems to be pulled up. The location of the re-planned open kitchen is now near the balcony. Once cooked the delicacies, take out to the balcony conveniently and enjoy the scenery at the same time. The two-layer structure plays an important role in separating different zones. With the soft and thick bed panel , wooden bedside tables, and built-in TV appliances. The upper sleeping area is fully equipped in this limited space. Finally, such unconventional, unusual curvy stacked volume consists of five layers - living area on the floor level, sleeping quarter on above, a bookshelf, a dining table and the custom-built stairs - from the inner to the outer, from the smallest to the largest. As such, five overlapping circles have been created to fulfill different functions, at the same time sharing the same central point to become a ‘360°living circle’ concept.
