The Lansdowne is a vibrant co-living development located just 20 minutes’ walk from Birmingham New Street station. In addition to 206 apartments, the building provides several distinct amenity areas for residents.

Woods Bagot developed the concept design for these areas, driving forward the client brief to create a series of flexible communal spaces throughout the building, bringing a new level of quality to Birmingham’s build-to-rent (BTR) offer.

The exclusive amenities include a private lounge and a communal work from home space. ‘The Cultural Mixer’ includes a resident’s kitchen, events space, and projection screen in addition to a fitness studio and individual secure bike storage which includes a fully kitted workshop.

The interior design inspiration for each space has been taken from the industrial heritage of Birmingham, ‘City of a Thousand Trades’. This is underlined through the use of raw materials which provide the backdrop for vintage furniture pieces and bespoke artwork creating an eclectic collection for residents to enjoy.
