The Kiss of the Wave The venue creates a field full of vigor and vitality. The design blurs temporal boundaries with transparent materials. The blending of sentiments and scenery gives an exquisite, dramatic feeling that bewitches the real world. The interwoven texture gives off a linear romance and shows a random state. The wave hovering over the space sets off a rolling ripple. The imagination about space stems from the scenery engraved in memory, which is by and large ineffable. The bred-in-the-bone features of the venue bring together nature and humanity and lead the hierarchical composition. Creative vision and experimental performance. Project Description The bred-in-the-bone features of the venue bring together nature and humanity and lead the hierarchical composition. The wave hovering over the space sets off a rolling ripple. The imagination about space stems from the scenery engraved in memory, which is by and large ineffable. The design blurs temporal boundaries with transparent materials. The giant structure encompasses the space like roaring waves, which embrace the floating island platform and reveal a sense of grandeur. Texture-based structure is interlaced and woven, exuding linear romance and casual elegance. The huge curved body with different widths are 8 meters long and consist of 7 independent objects floating above the atrium. We strive for perfection in every detail, from internal structure design to surface material, from load-bearing support to fixing modes. After numerous attempts over the past five months, we finally came up with the texture-based design which exudes linear romance and casual elegance. The first floor mainly demonstrates the future development of the area. The inner boundary of the second floor is equipped with a mezzanine where people can have meetings, enjoy bar services and have parentchild interactions. The wave curve hovers above the atrium, offering a shared landscape that will impress visitors with ingenuity and casual atmosphere. Whether it is the giant 'waves' at the entrance or the flexible combination in the negotiation area, their artistic expression and adjacent design with floors and outdoor spaces will offer visitors a chance to immerse themselves to experience vitality of life. Materials Stone: prefabricated terrazzo, customized cement stone, slot, broaching cement stone, pure acrylic artificial stone Wood: wood veneer Stainless steel: sand surface stainless steel Device: acrylic Processes and technical difficulties GRG viewing floating islands: 1. Control the precision of on-site setting-out and positioning for the special-shaped steel structure skeleton installed by means of precise load calculation. 2. The factory will carry out 3D modeling and work out processing and production drawings through the computer with reference to the actual data; the factory will open the mold in blocks by using a 3D engraving machine, and then go through numerous procedures such as hanging net, lime plaster and polishing until the finished; furthermore, the products are grouped and numbered, the pendants are welded to the corresponding positions of the main steel skeleton based on the number of GRG components, and the pendants are plastered and polished to seamless connection; after the surface is smooth, paint the surface finish. Acrylic device: Acrylic device, stairs and viewing island platform complement each other, and the three should be constructed synchronously based on lofting points accurately. The device consists of seven units, with a total length of 8 meters and a height of 2-3 meters, which poses a challenge for transportation, installation and hanging. 1. Embed the points of steel structure based on the structural drawings, carry out fine lofting carefully on site with the plates, verify the data, and send them to a professional factory for manual production. 2. The team research and development of fasteners for skeleton and modular production. Manufacturing steps: wax mold - wax unloading- cooling - wax mold forming - wax mold repairing - four mortars - casting stainless steel – demoulding - forming. The principal skeleton is bent in three dimensions with stainless steel elbow, and the surface metal mesh is welded on the main keel to ensure the acrylic fixation later. Finally, professional craftsmen are invited to weave seven monomer devices by hand.
