The artists wanted a space to feel like being inside a painting, simultaneously being thrown into a timeless mix of an 18th C. and a contemporary space, the public being the actors in this installation like models. Carte blanche was given and abstract painting, decoupage, hand painted textiles, unique flocked tables all came from a tiny 19thC postcard as a starting point, a tiny detail exploded into a room, the mirrored bar and tables are like pools the 200yr old belgian oak bar shelves are branches. Everything is integrated so you live inside a painting.
