The two-story building is in an old US military dormitory area, Taichung. It is now transformed into an architecture firm. Leveraged on its corner location and tore down the solid wall, added in special features to expand its outlook by opening garden area. Changing the wall into grille fence, expanded the balcony, embedded raw granite staircase and sharing of green vegetation with neighborhood, broke the limitation of private residence. Adding more spaces, reserve the historical appearance and keep the skyline height, the area is expanded and mountain wall is imitated to create natural system. Besides, green grass is used to improve tactile experience; cherry blossom tree is to remind the pedestrian of four-season.
