Olga Hanono presents the exhibition The Art of Color At the MUNAL National Art Museum in Mexico City An intimate exploration of the relationship between design, art and color.. Mexico City, August 30, 2021 — Olga Hanono - The Art of Color is an exhibition by renowned Mexican interior designer Olga Hanono in the emblematic Reception Room of the MUNAL National Museum of Art in Mexico City. The show will be open to the public from September 3 through September 21st. The exhibition also celebrates the first collection of exclusive paint colors developed by Hanono in partnership with Comex. Olga Hanono - The Art of Color marks a milestone in the career of the interior designer. The point of departure for the exhibition is a palette of new colors that embody the designer's vision, developed in collaboration with Comex, through which Hanono explores the connections between color, architecture, design and art. The exhibition is an invitation to share the magic that color and beauty can bring to our everyday life, by way of an interior landscape of unexpected geometries, livable spaces and vibrant hues. The MUNAL Reception Room will be intervened by Hanono, who has designed a platform with a striking geometric pattern, as well as seven pavilions that highlight each of the seven colors of her new line of Comex paint colors, that will present livable interior vignettes with original furniture and artworks, where visitors can experience first-hand the impact, elegance and sensuality of Olga Hanono's aesthetics. In addition to her signature palette, Olga Hanono has created new pieces of furniture and objects that complement and contrast with the colors of her line, to become central elements of these seven habitable scenes. Hanono has also selected works by artists such as Damien Hirst, Oliver Marsden, Pedro Friedeberg and Ramón Alva de la Canal, to reflect her own process of creating spaces through the balance of all these elements: color, texture, space, and art . This gathering of tonalities and disciplines resonates with Hanono's ability and sensitivity to create new dialogues and understandings, as well as her own creative process, which transcends the visual and delves into the creation of objects, spaces and experiences. With her design sensitivity and the use of color, Olga Hanono transports us to remote places, distilling their essence through bold designs and unique proposals, to bring us back to the new horizons of contemporary life.
