This dental clinic opened on the ground floor of an old office building directly in front of Tokyo Station.
It is a very cutting-edge form of medical care, a dental clinic with a new structure and spatial scale, where dentists of different specialties team up to provide comprehensive treatment and care of the oral cavity.
Three separate entrances were provided for each of the three major specialties. Although these clinics operate independently, they are connected in their interior spaces, and staff and patients move through the clinics in the right places at the right times.
The design and the atmosphere of the space create three different views of the world. On the other hand, the adjacent clinics are interspersed with white wood, black stained wood, and various colors that accentuate each other, and were designed with a sense of continuity that does not feel out of place as a space.
The white wood and pink-colored area was designed to create a space with a sense of lightness and cleanliness. The area featuring white wood and black was intended to be a generous space for a variety of medical examinations. The monotone area was created to create an area with a sense of tension, specializing in the expertise of performing radical treatments.
Each treatment room, with the utmost respect for privacy, has its own uniqueness. This concept is followed in the counseling rooms, restrooms, and even the backyard. The spatial structure is rationally designed to enhance functionality, with separate lines of flow for patients and staff, and a line of flow from the medical backyard to the examination rooms.
