Helsinki based office dSign Vertti Kivi & Co was invited to bring in fresh entertainment ideas and to design restaurant and pub areas for the Ropax ferry.

To entertain its 2800 passengers during the two-hour journey dSign decided to design several different types of experience islands that suit the needs of different kind of customer groups and ease the navigation on board. Special attention was paid to the smooth customer flow. The star of the catering branch of the vessel is the new Free Flow Café where there are 2 chefs working at the counter non-stop creating the dishes according to the customers’ wishes. A burger restaurant corner offers freshly baked burgers with fresh ingredients. There is also a Buffet and two pubs, a sporty Victory Bar and a more artistic Sea pub. The lounges can be easily modified to suit the needs of the groups of different sizes.
