When reached by Mekhong, the first Thai branded spirit, to create a space resonating Thai aesthetic way of life between the reign of King Rama V – King Rama VI that merged Thai exquisite wisdom with western modern ethic, we came up with the idea of a bar filled with the history of Thai culture along with the story of the brand itself, and that is the initial idea for Suriyasai Content Bar.
The purpose of The Content Bar is also to provide a space with sophisticated ambience leading to visitors’ conversations, making their own content in The Content Bar. To represent charming cultivated era, the space was designed to give a sense of private comfort but not isolated. Dramatic mood also came to consideration and was presented through special technique of light setting and classic green overall colour, which inspired from Mekong Limited Edition glass bottle.
Suriyasai Content Bar was also designed to provide a space for art appreciation.
Concerning that Thai aesthetic way of life in that time also came from people’s admiration for art, The Content bar then can be turned into art space, which art exhibition, art performance and fashion show can be curated.
