Construction Management

In the heart of Taipei, our design philosophy draws inspiration from Luis Barragan, emphasizing simple geometric forms without elaborate embellishments. The interior architecture features minimalistic color schemes, creating a mysterious and pure ambiance.

The external walls utilize a closed and enveloping approach, with a vivid orange-red hue infusing the restaurant with a strong sense of mystery. The arched entrance, following the curve of the wall, leads into the interior space. Oval-shaped light membrane ceilings highlight the entrance, extending along the wall shapes of the entrance and bar area. Artwork and greenery complement these elements, emitting a strong yet gentle atmosphere.

For sustainability, we chose carpeting as the flooring material to minimize consumption and reduce environmental impact. This decision avoids dismantling the existing floor and using additional materials as subflooring. The single material is durable, wear-resistant, scratch-resistant, and easy to clean, tailored to the dining space's specific usage conditions, aligning with our commitment to sustainability.

Creating a cave-like ceiling space addresses low beams, enhancing the experiential quality of the space. People can move freely without obstruction or segregation, adding intrigue compared to traditional table and chair arrangements.

The continuous cave-like design and monochromatic color palette contribute to the overall aesthetic. The orange-red arc-shaped bar guides visitors into the space, with irregular curved surfaces providing a cave-like sensation.

In the seating area, saturated orange-red pairs with pure white, creating a distinct separation along arched lines. The design features a double-layered ceiling with subdued lighting for orange-red seats, while white seats use a single-layer ceiling with projected and indirect lighting, establishing a rich yet harmonious tone.

On the first floor, private booths continue monochromatic color schemes with a mysterious purple tone. VIP booths in the basement incorporate a saturated green color scheme. Surprises are concealed in lush green and enigmatic purple booths, customizable for celebrations or anniversaries. The interplay of daylight and evening light creates distinct moods, contrasting with warm tones in the space.

To complement warm tones, design lighting, sound systems, serpentinite, and contemporary artworks enrich the space. These elements introduce color gradients, transforming the space into a multi-dimensional experience. This approach heightens emotions, elevating the dining experience and adding understated luxury to the surroundings.
