What is the smallest unit to make maximum impression? How to combine reuse and differentiating design? What does it mean to focus on the point of contact and not the product in the foreground? The answers can be found in the "Kiosk 2.0" of the Süddeutsche Zeitung - not just an exhibition stand: but a design concept based on consistent reuse, modular construction and maximum customer dialog for events and trade fairs.

Innovation
Under the guideline of a more sustainable use of resources, a trade fair construction box was created: a striking "brand kiosk of the future" with a minimal, one-time material expenses, which autonomously brings along and combines everything to impress at the trade fair - and beyond.

Functionality
The kiosk's modular design and solid base structure allow for multiple uses. The iconic design and overall appearance immediately draws visitors to a central location in the always busy halls of the Leipzig Book Fair. Several small product displays (analog and interactive) showcase Süddeutsche Zeitung's product diversity, and the open-design coffee bar invites visitors to engage in dialogue with the brand, people and its content.

Creativity
The theme of meeting point and communication with the formal quote of a modern "news stand" fits perfectly with Süddeutsche Zeitung to interact with readers in a casual way - by serving "current news" and a good espresso at the first appearance at the Leipzig Book Fair 2023.

Sustainability
Based on the premise of a sustainable appearance, the development of a modular exhibition stand construction box was carried out with minimal use of disposable materials and without the use of inefficient additional materials and lighting systems (spotlights from the rig) on a minimal footprint of 35 sqm.
