SSI Office is a 100 sqm workplace located in District 8, SCBD, Jakarta. It’s an investment company which holds and manages securities for investment purposes with its own distinctive investment philosophy and culture. The primary objective is to turn the company’s vision towards a solid and professional design approach on building the company's visual identity. The overall design creates multiple layers of impression that captivates the modern & transparent ambience to represent the company image. Upon arrival, users are greeted by a welcoming front reception & waiting room, curated with a combination of wood and marble finishing. Separated with a wide transparent glass partition stretching between reception and waiting room area. These ideas are applied to maximize the vista into the space. To ensure privacy, a motorized roller blind & projector were installed to convert and transform the waiting room into a private meeting room. Given its elevation, we separate public and private areas with a camouflage partition. Once we enter the camouflage door, a wide transparent glass partition separating the staff area with the director room. Pantry cabinet and filing cabinets are camouflaged with the wood wall panel to hide the column structure. Open floor plans allow any natural light to shine further. These ideas are applied not only to maximizing natural light and sustainable design hack, but the effect also creates a connection for both rooms. The designers were challenged with the task not only to create the aesthetic, but also to maximize the limited space and accommodate all the function requirements.
