Our design concept for this project is based on nature and wildlife, a forest that anyone can feel natural to be in. This sets an expectation on what kind of materials we needed to use to provide comfort and aesthetics. A large amount of wood element was used, but not limited to raw wood materials. Raw wood materials with rough surfaces can represent our concept, but are sometimes too impractical to put into the design. Therefore, wood grain stickers wall strips were used instead to maintain functionality and sustainability. Combined with other similar colours like copper, it gave depth to the forest we were trying to create.
